Airstream Club International, Region 2, is sponsoring a fun and relaxing caravan to the 2020 International Rally in Loveland, CO. Departing from the Region 2 Rally in Kingston, Ontario on May 26, this will be an unhurried trip across southern Ontario and the USA with 2- or 3-night stops at every campground. The route will cross Ontario, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas and stop in Colorado.
There will be a good mix of organized activities and free time to explore or shop on your own, as well as lots of social time, happy hours and cookouts to get to know and enjoy your fellow caravaners. Camping facilities will range from luxury resorts to rural fairgrounds. Participation will be limited to 25 Airstreams, including the leaders.
Some of the planned activities include: A lunch cruise on the St. Clair River at Sarnia (Ontario); A tour of the RV/Motorhome Hall of Fame in Elkhart, IN; A tour of the world famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway; A cruise on the Missouri River at Mark Twain’s home town of Hannibal; A dinner and show at Boot Hill Museum in historic Dodge City; and a trip to the summit of Pikes Peak in Colorado. Other activities are being added as plans are finalized.
